When is the next opportunity to apply?

The first series of 2019 grants had a 30-day application period beginning on April 6th and ending on May 6th. The winning applicants were notified on May 23rd. We anticipate one more series of grants later in 2019. Winning applicants are generally notified within 2-3 weeks of the grant close date.

How does one apply?

How much can we ask for?

As little as you need up to $25,000.

How are the funds delivered?

The recipient does not receive the funds directly, The money is sent from the Jenny Jones Foundation to the CSFA, who then pays the vendors directly for the equipment requested.

Who decides on the winning grant?

All applications are vetted by a qualified and impartial panel of retired firefighters as well as Jenny herself. The final decision(s) are mutually agreed upon by CSFA Executive Director, Gene Gantt; Association Services Director, Anne Mullinax; and donor Jenny Jones.
