(April 20, 2020) “Outstanding!” said Chief Robert Withrow, when I called to share the good news of his grant of $3,000. “Can I share with you how big a deal this is?” He went on to say, “I am a 30-year veteran and the people in this rural community are the best group of people I have ever worked with. They are good hearted public servants.” He explained that it’s not easy to raise money but they still put on pancake breakfast events to help the department.
I’m very glad to be able to help provide the equipment needed to keep the volunteers safe.
